Warm Berry Quinoa Bowl
4 Servings

Why It's Kidney Friendly
Quinoa provides a complete protein, and berries are low in potassium, making this bowl a hearty, kidney-friendly way to start the day.
Ingredients
1/2 cup of cooked quinoa
1/2 cup of mixed berries (fresh or thawed from frozen)
1 cup of unsweetened almond milk
1 tablespoon of chopped nuts (optional)
1 teaspoon of honey or maple syrup (optional)
Directions
Heat the cooked quinoa with almond milk in a saucepan over medium heat until warm.
Stir in berries, and continue heating until the mixture is hot.
Serve topped with chopped nuts and a drizzle of honey or maple syrup if desired.
