Apple Walnut Breakfast Bars

Why It's Kidney Friendly
Apples are low in potassium, and walnuts provide healthy fats, making these bars a nutritious, kidney-friendly start to your day.
Ingredients
1 cup of rolled oats
1/2 cup of chopped walnuts
1/2 cup of unsweetened applesauce
1 apple, peeled and grated
1/4 cup of honey
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
Directions
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8x8 inch baking dish with parchment paper.
In a bowl, mix oats, walnuts, applesauce, grated apple, honey, and cinnamon until well combined.
Press the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
Bake for 20-25 minutes, until golden brown.
Let cool before cutting into bars.
