Peach and Oat Breakfast Bars

Why It's Kidney Friendly
These bars use fresh peaches for natural sweetness and oats for fiber, providing a balanced, kidney-friendly breakfast option that’s easy to grab on the go.
Ingredients
1 cup of rolled oats
1/2 cup of whole wheat flour
1/4 cup of honey
1/2 cup of diced peaches (fresh or frozen, thawed)
1/4 cup of unsweetened applesauce
1 egg
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
Directions
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8x8 inch baking dish with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, mix oats, flour, and honey. Stir in applesauce, egg, and vanilla extract.
Gently fold in diced peaches.
Press the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown. Let cool before cutting into bars.
