BREAKFAST
Spiced Pear Oatmeal
1 Serving

Why It's Kidney Friendly
Oats are a heart-healthy choice, and pears provide gentle sweetness and fiber without overwhelming your kidneys.
Ingredients
1/2 cup of rolled oats
1 cup of water or unsweetened almond milk
1 ripe pear, diced
1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon
A pinch of nutmeg
Optional: A drizzle of honey for extra sweetness
Directions
Cook oats in water or almond milk according to package instructions.
Stir in diced pear, cinnamon, and nutmeg during the last few minutes of cooking.
Finish with a drizzle of honey if desired and serve warm.
