BREAKFAST
Blueberry Almond Breakfast Bars
8 to 10 Bars

Why It's Kidney Friendly
Packed with antioxidants from blueberries and healthy fats from almonds, these breakfast bars are low in potassium and phosphorus, making them a perfect kidney-friendly, grab-and-go breakfast.
Ingredients
1 cup of rolled oats
1/2 cup of almond flour
1/4 cup of honey or maple syrup
1/2 cup of fresh or frozen blueberries
1/4 cup of sliced almonds
1 egg
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
Directions
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking dish with parchment paper.
Mix oats, almond flour, honey, egg, and vanilla in a bowl.
Gently fold in blueberries and almonds.
Press the mixture into the prepared baking dish.
Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
Cool before cutting into bars.
