I made it a point to start with the most requested feature which is to serve you with quick, easy, and kidney-friendly recipes. Each recipe counts the SPPP: sodium, potassium, phosphorus and protein for easier review. Enjoy!
BREAKFAST
Vanilla Almond Oat Porridge
1 Serving

Why It's Kidney Friendly
Oats are a great source of fiber and almond milk is low in phosphorus, making this porridge a warm, kidney-friendly breakfast choice.
Ingredients
1/2 cup of rolled oats
1 cup of unsweetened almond milk
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
1 tablespoon of almond slivers
1 teaspoon of honey (optional)
Directions
In a saucepan, combine oats and almond milk. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer, stirring occasionally, until oats are soft, about 5-7 minutes.
Stir in vanilla extract.
Serve topped with almond slivers and a drizzle of honey if desired.
