Zesty Avocado and Tomato Toast
2 Servings

Why It's Kidney Friendly
Avocado provides healthy fats, and tomatoes are used in moderation to keep potassium levels in check, making this toast a flavorful, kidney-friendly way to begin your day.
Ingredients
2 slices of whole grain bread, toasted
1 ripe avocado, mashed
1/2 tomato, thinly sliced
A squeeze of fresh lemon juice
Salt and pepper to taste
Optional: A sprinkle of red pepper flakes for extra spice
Directions
Spread the mashed avocado on the toasted bread slices.
