Apples are low in potassium, and oats provide heart-healthy fiber, making these overnight oats a comforting, kidney-friendly breakfast.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup of old-fashioned rolled oats

  • 1/2 cup of unsweetened almond milk

  • 1 apple, diced

  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon

  • 1 tablespoon of honey or maple syrup

Directions

  1. Mix oats, almond milk, apples, cinnamon, and sweetener in a mason jar or airtight container.

  2. Cover and refrigerate overnight.

  3. Uncover and stir before serving.

Dinner: Stir-Fried Chicken with Apples & Veggies

Directions

  1. In a pan, heat olive oil over medium heat.

  4. Sprinkle with herbs and spices, and serve warm.
