BREAKFAST
Spiced Pear & Quinoa Bowl
1 Serving
Why It's Kidney Friendly
Pears are low in potassium, and quinoa is a complete protein, making this bowl a nutritious, kidney-friendly breakfast option.
Ingredients
1/2 cup of cooked quinoa
1 ripe pear, diced
1/4 cup of unsweetened almond milk
1 tablespoon of chopped walnuts
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
1 teaspoon of honey (optional)
Directions
In a saucepan, warm cooked quinoa and almond milk over low heat.
Stir in diced pear, cinnamon, and honey.
Top with chopped walnuts before serving.
Enjoy warm.
