Fall Snack: Baked Apple Chips
Why It's Kidney Friendly
Apples are low in potassium and high in fiber, making these apple chips a kidney-friendly fall snack.
Ingredients
2 apples
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
1 tablespoon of honey
Directions
Preheat the oven to 200°F (90°C).
Core the apples and slice them thinly.
Arranged the slices on a baking sheet.
Sprinkle with cinnamon and drizzle lightly with honey.
Bake for 2-3 hours, flipping halfway through, until the edges curl up and chips are crispy.
Let them cool and serve.

Directions

Blend until smooth using a blender.
Sprinkle with fresh herbs, add black pepper to taste, and serve warm.
