Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup of cooked quinoa

  • 1 apple, diced

  • 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon

  • 1/4 teaspoon of nutmeg

  • 1 tablespoon of maple syrup

  • 1 cup of unsweetened almond milk

Directions

  1. In a saucepan, combine all ingredients except for maple syrup.

  2. Cook over medium heat until the mixture is warm and the apple is slightly tender.

  3. Stir in maple syrup before serving.
