Why It's Kidney Friendly
Quinoa is a complete protein and low in potassium, making this porridge a nourishing, kidney-friendly breakfast option.
Ingredients
1/2 cup of cooked quinoa
1 cup of unsweetened almond milk
1 tablespoon of maple syrup
1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon
1/4 cup of chopped pecans
Directions
In a small saucepan, combine cooked quinoa and almond milk. Heat over low until warmed through.
Stir in maple syrup and cinnamon.
Top with chopped pecans before serving.
